probably heard of most of the shares held by atheists, supported by the loud here and there, Richard Dawkins, by promoting atheism. Actually, maybe it is more about paying people because of atheism in response to the marketing campaign of the church. I guess this is not mentioned, but here the church often enough to advertise, for example, promising to find meaning in life. This is not so strange in a country where already processed unused churches in houses, night clubs or climbing walls (the old church of St. Benedict near Manchester, was thus saved from dismantling). The atheist posters are on display campaign with the slogan 'There is probably no god. Now Stop Worrying and enjoy your life '. As you can see, the password is quite conservative, which according to me a little undermines the whole action. It would be like to write: najprawdopodbniej survive the fall from the third floor, so jump ahead! Catholics have approached this differently, some want to ban this type of campaigns, others have argued that anything that will force people to think about life is valuable (and either way leads to God.) Finally, shares have already started, and I happened to see a couple of these posters in the subway.
This topic has been loud some time ago, but remembered seeing him recently protested against Scientology group Anonymous. About Scientology will not elaborate, although this is a fascinating phenomenon (especially for any young kultysty and / or planning to setting up their own religion). She protested a small group of several dozen young men in masks that guy from V for Vendetta (ot the film), did not pay much attention to myself, but I liked one of the terms: There is probably no Xenu.
As I once said, London is a city where a lot of protests. This is probably its size, a large number of young people who, because of niespecjalny level of British universities have too much free time and probably the tolerance by the authorities. I have a feeling that the parliament at the weekend oprotestowywuje someone something (other than a permanent protest against the war in Iraq). Recently a rather large unpopularity enjoy Heathrow expansion plans (third lane).
And while we're
on the topic of expansion I-I was recently on a mini-exhibition devoted to city planning in London. Plans, data etc etc. Everything was prepared before the crisis, so that some plans may change ... They have a nice scale model of London, where dostawiajÄ… planned buildings, so that you can imagine how
to London anytime soon change. A little change is afoot. Planned several new skyscrapers, pictured left, three of them, the right one yet (this, and the middle of the trinity to be completed in 2012, but I think the final decisions have been taken). London is still enhances the, contrary to appearances, is still a lot of space in the more remote districts. The problem definitely is communication, there are plans of new underground lines, but personally I'm not sure if they will be able to improve the comfort of movement ... Especially since the plans are ambitious, from what I remember more than 150k new homes for 2012 (before the crisis;). Well, London is already highly decentralized city, and probably it will go in that direction, something that will cause a further decline in quality of life. On the other hand, I did not have anything against the house somewhere up in the pin;)
